Ever since, the human has started earning, they have always cared about saving the money for the future. Some of them save them in banks or lend the money for high interests while some others like to invest their money to get the better returns and make their money work for them. Then, in 17^th century came “Stock Market” came into existence which proved to be the ocean for investors to invest their money.

In stock market, people just don’t earn money but they loose it as well. Any amount of money being used for some return [high] is known as investment. When people invest their money in stock market, they expect high returns on that, which practically does not happen because someone’s gains are other losses. Plus it needs a lot of knowledge and time to study and invest in stock markets. With the evolvement of stock market investing, people have started studying it to invest more properly and those who didn’t studied it, have made losses.

The people who didn’t study the stock market or didn’t have time to study it and yet wanted to earn from it came up with a smarter idea for themselves. They started hiring people with great knowledge for stock market. Earlier these people used to work for the firm and study the market and give the ideas to their bosses to buy or sell for the stock. Some of them made huge profits for their company while others made losses but that was not that much important as a new position was being opened for employment which was a good sign. Then, these employees used to trade in stock market for their company to make the trading for faster and hassle free. But the problem with this system was that whoever wants to invest in stock was supposed to have an office and staff working over there.

Then came the concept of the research companies which consists of professionals and analysts of stock markets to study them and provide tips based on their analysis. People started taking services from these companies to get the tips of trading and then trading on their own risk. These companies made a smarter solution by providing their clients better services or trading tips, which they later on expanded to portfolio management and trading as well. The advantage of these companies kept on increasing firstly they gave tips on basis of research and analysis of whole team instead of one person. Secondarily, one does not need to have office and staff, in this model; the person can work from home as well. Thirdly, these companies offer trading services and portfolio services as well in order to make their work more efficient.
